On Saturday December 8th, we were showered in preparation for Baby Lydia's arrival! It was such a beautiful day, much nicer weather than for Everett's shower in April! Oh, California!
Also, compared to Everett's shower, this was basically a huge play date. Everett has so many friends, and they're such a big part of our life, that we had many, many kids in attendance.

Rachel and Gion (and Phil) planned the party, and it was beautiful and well organized. It was a tough time to have a shower, between Thanksgiving and Christmas, but being due in February, the shower was destined to be at a very difficult time. It turned out amazing, of course, and we got a surprising amount of friends to show up.
We decorated with some of the paper chains I made for Sadie's shower. And Gion and Rachel had me make some tissue paper flowers. I was really happy with how they turned out.
There was a beautiful spread of appetizers and treats.
Everett got a couple "big brother" gifts. Sadie was pretty excited about that too.

We feel so loved and much more prepared for Baby Lydia's arrival. We have an amazing group of friends and family! We are so lucky.
